I was in a rebuilding mode but already had a few unsecured cards - Capital One Platinum, Sears, Kohls. I tried applying for the USAA Visa cash rewards. Said that I was not approved but offered me this card instead. So I applied and got approved. The only thing that I am disappointed about is the annual fee.

Before getting this card, I had the cap one secured and the opensky card. I was looking to make the jump to unsecured. I had been a USAA member for 4 years but never had their cards. So I decided to give this a shot and I got approved.

Have been with USAA for 5 years (I'm active duty). Got their secured credit card for the last 2 years. Canceled it after I got approved for this card. It seems to me that this card is a tier up from the secured card but below the rest of the other reward cards. I've got a $2k limit.

Applied and got approved for $2000. Score was 603 on EQ which I believe was pulled. This is definitely a rebuilder card. Note that you cannot do balance transfers or get cash advances.

Score was 625 when I was approved. CL of $1000. It is a rebuilder card with an annual fee. You cannot do a balance transfer or cash advances but it does not bother me at all. I was recently given an auto CLI to $2000. The website says you can be considered for a "premium credit card" so we'll see how that goes.

I started of my rebuilding with secured cards. When my scores were in the mid 600s, i decided to app a few unsecured cards. This was one of the cards together with Walmart and Sears. I got $1000 in credit lines. But I got higher for both walmart and sears! And they have no annual fee as well.

I started rebuilding my credit with the USAA secured Visa. After about 15 months, I decided to try my luck on this card and was approved. My score was about 645 on EQ when I applied and got approved for a $2000 line. Prior to that, my scores were in the high 500s when I got the secured card.
