I got this card only to help build my credit score quickly. This card is an excelent and one of the best ways to build your credit if used properly. It is a revolving line of credit which actually lets you submit for credit line increases very easily online. I bumped up my credit line every month or so by 2k and once 5k. Pay it off early, don't use up more than 10 percent of the credit available and you can increase your credit score pretty quickly. Its called maintaining a good credit to debt ratio.

Credit Score between +770. I like the card. I started off with a $10k CL but I called every few months and they increased the limit with no hard credit pulls. My experience with the credit card customer service has been very good.
I have the the store card $20k CL and the Macys Amex $25k CL.
They send lots of coupons monthly for both cards. Coupons are helpful but exclude a lot of items.

Applied in October---I am in the process of rebuilding my credit... I have not had a credit card in about 8 years... applied at the counter(after being asked numerous times!!) I thought" What the heck.. the worst they can say is NO!" Got approved for $800 dollars and have been paying it off every month(it was Christmas time so I charged some Christmas gifts; I am trying to not carry a balance) ;-)

Rebuilding my credit for a year now, I have been getting approved since i hit the 600 mark. if you are looking for cards commenity bank seems to be the most flexible in lending credit. Citi bank i thought would not approve me for this since my collection was just taken out of my credit report but im glad i got the card. if you shop at macys it is worth it.

Due to my major illness and the job loss of my spouse. We filed Chapter 7 in 2009, which was discharged in 2010. My Macy's card limit was reduced from $2000 to $100. I made purchases and paid in full every month for 6 months. After that my limit was restored to $2000. Now 5 years later my limit is $6000. Macy''s customer outside the U.S. Is a bit lacking. However this account has helped with the rebuilding of my credit. The account has been opened since 2001.

I have tax liens and collections on my account as well as lates for a few cards from about 7 years ago. I lost job and stopped paying my credit cards to try to keep my house. The foreclosure was taken off of my credit due to unfair lending practices. My credit score on credit karma is showing 539 and 520 and that is not correct. I did receive a rejection from Barclays May 2015 and my Transunion score was 635 so Credit Karma is off by over 100 points.
