I had 2 credit cards scammed back in 2016 and I have a 733 credit score and Macy's brought my Macys credit card limit from 3600 to 100.00 and 6 years later they still wont increase my card yet I spent 1,000.00 on my AMEX at their store the other day. Their products are nice but their credit dept. is rude and they suck!

Donot ever get furniture with Macys Credit Card 12-month financing. When they offered 12-month financing with no interest, it sounded a pretty good deal but what happened was my credit score dropped by 65 points in just 1 month. Even a new home mortgage didnot drop so much points. It looks like my credit utilisation went from 2,3% to 20%. It dropped so much in 1 month. Building a credit takes a long time. 12-month financing is a pretty bad deal for Credit.

Worst card ever!!! Avoid it if you can!!! they report for late payment of $1!!!!!
After being a Macy's card member holder for a past 20 years by a mestake i make a payment of $3.00 short, not even realizing that.Ihave called them and, and THEY PROMISED ME to take care of the preoblem. They lie!!!.
They report late payment to a credit bureau, and my credit score change from 820 to 780.
After 20 years i'm pulling this card from my wallet. They don't deserve good customers and they are not loyal.

I have had this card for a year. I have used it, paid it off, used it paid it off. Actually my card has been at a 0 balance for the past few months. Recently they lowered it to $300 because I made some purchases (RV and Auto) which lowered my score. Very rude customer services. Oh BTW, in 30 years I have never had this happen. I also have AMEX cards that are double what Macy's was giving me through AMEX so I call BS on everything.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS FAKE AMERICAN EXPRESS! THEY ARE NOT AMERICAN EXPRESS!!! THEY CHARGED ME $2000 WHILE THE MARCGANT SAYS THE CHARGE HAS TO BE REMOBVED....!!!
Macys Company is so irresponsible and unprofessional in its credit card services and also tricky to fool people like me to use their macys cards in different places while this company never provides a decent support and customer service to them. When this credit card was suggested to me by one of the agents at one of your stores, they lied to me and fooled me by saying that the card I was going to receive was an Amex credit card which is %100 false because there is no card by this name in the American express official website. It seems to me that Macys has just paid an amount of money to American Express to get the permission to put that logo but your customers should know that this card is no way considered an Amex Card. In fact, I have put my trust in American Express NOT Macys but your people tricked me in the store. Now I can vividly see the difference between the card that I had expected to receive and the actual card that I am holding . I got ripped off by this company but not being able to remove a charge of $2000 that google adwords stole from me while promising that they would reverse the charge within a week in December 2016 but it never happened until this moment. And now after 6 months from the date that opened a dispute on that amount, Macys credit card company sent me a letter that I would be held responsible to pay $2070 including the original amount plus interest on it ! THAT IS RIDICULOUS! STAY AWAY MACYS COMPANY!!!!

I was so upset I got all my last purchases for Christmas 2016 valued at over $875.00 and returned them when I got the letter declining my Macys Credit Card. will never shop at Macys again.

Applied over the phone with Macy's Furniture and the sales guy was told more information was needed. Have to wait two weeks to be notified by mail. Income is over $200K. I called customer service, and they were very helpful and nice even though I didn't have a reference number so they had no idea who I was.

I would suggest not to get this card as this card will mess ur credit scores and you will not get any loan.we closed macy's card and then also they were continuosly charging us late fees without even intimating us and our credit score went down. And now there is no one to help us,totally helpless as we were going to buy new house because of this card now we can't.Customer care is horrible.
Macy's stores should be closed they just ruin people life.

Been rebuilding my credit for the last year; been doing excellent with Capital One and Barclay Mastercards. Recently got approved for Walmart with $1,200 and Amazon with $900 which after only three months got bumped to $1,600 (paying off every month and only spending like below 20%). Tried last week with Old Navy and got $300 instantly approved online. Tried my luck once more with Macy's and also got approved for $300; then I got email asking to call them to activate; after answering two security questions (from my credit history) got bumped to $600. Don't lose hope. It takes time and a little discipline but you can get there - if I did, you can too.

This card is ridiculous! Do not apply if you do not have a great memory to pay it off right away! Besides the super high interest, their call center have the worst customer service! I was out of country for 2+ months, all major credit card company are willing to remove the late fees, this blood sucking monster only willing to remove $18 while charging me $105 for late fee! BTW, my outstanding balance was only $40, you see how non sense this is! You know what they say? It is your fault, and you need to take the consequence. OK~ Cut the card right after the call!
