This is my third card that I got. I also have the Discover it and Wells Fargo. I actually prefer the Discover because of the rewards. But in terms of customer service, I would say that BOA is as good as Discover. And like Discover, you can also monitor your fico scores. They are slightly different so I think different bureaus provide the scores for each. After six months, I got a $500 increase.

I like the fact that I can monitor my fico score. The only complaint I have is that there are no rewards. I just got the Discover it and I have earned some rewards already just by using the card. I think I will be using the BOA less going forward.

Got this card during my freshman year. The card is ok. The only problem was that there was no rewards. After six months of using the card and paying on time, I got a $500 credit line increase. After nine months with the card, I got a capital one card with cash back and have been using that ever since because of the rewards.

Here is my assessment of this card.

Pros
1. very good customer service - lost my card once and they got it replaced quickly.
2. easy to use website and app
3. free fico score from transunion

Cons
1. no rewards - which I found out to be quite a big deal ever since I got my Discover card.
