I have a very good credit score and got approved for $10k in limit. For the most parts, I paid my bills in full and never charged more than $3k on my card. I decided to renovate my kitchen and bathroom and spent quite a bit on supplies (about $7k). I decided to carry a balance for a couple of months before paying it off. After I paid it off, they reduced my credit lines to $3k! I called customer service but was given stupid reasons why they cut my credit lines. The bottom line is if Chase thinks your utilization is too high, they may very well reduce your credit limits with no warning after you paid off your balance in one swoop. Be very aware.

I have the CSR and this card is a perfect companion to the card. I used to have the original Freedom card but really hated the rotating categories. This card suits me just fine.
