I have excellent credit and my husband and I make over 6 figures together. I was instantly approved and only given a $1,000 limit. I couldn't believe it! Ridiculous.

I applied with a 752 credit score and a salary of $150,000 and was only approved for $1,000. This doesn't make any sense. I have $20k on Capital One Venture. Very disappointed and not a good intro with American Express.

Just got card. They only gave me $1000 limit. My credit scores are in the 780s. This is BS. Not worth having. Going to cancel.

Score was 775 and was approved for $10k. A year later, my limit has been increased to $20k (after a couple of automatic increases). Love the 6% cash back at groceries.

I have the Amex PRG, and SPG ($10k). Decided to go for a "cash back" card to earn more on groceries. I was approved for $15k. Score was 760.
