Verdict - The SkyPointsâ„¢ Credit Card from Delta and American Express is one of the best airline credit cards for the following reasons. You have the flexibility to convert your skypoints to either Delta Skymiles or use them to get a discount on Delta airfares. If you choose to use your points to get a discount, you can shop around for the lowest fare - no need to use some in-house travel agent from the credit card company or even Delta's representatives. This flexibility is also very useful because we all know that airfares vary depending on where and when you actually travel. Having the option to get discounts or transfer your skypoints to skymiles and then use them to a ticket redemption allows you to make best use of your "air miles". The other good thing about this card is that it has a very reasonable annual fee of $49.00. Traditional airline credit cards normally charge an annua fee of around $75.00. Thirdly, you not only earn double skypoints with Delta or Song purchases, but also with "everyday purchases".
If you are a Delta or Song frequent flier, we would highly recommend the skypoints credit card. We would even recommend it over the American Express Delta Skymiles credit card.
