National City Bank has four credit cards - the FirstAir Elite Visa, the Elite Visa, Diamond Edition Elite Visa and the Everyday Rewards Elite Visa. Below is a brief description of each of these cards.
The FirstAir Elite Visa is a travel reward card that is quite similar to the Blue Sky from American Express. With this card, you will earn reward points. But rather than redeeming your reward points for a travel item like an airline ticket, you have the flexibility to get the best deal. Only after you have purchased the travel item with your card do you claim your reward points for a statement credit (which is equivalent to a cash rebate).
The National City Bank Elite Visa is a reward credit card where you can earn points which can be redeemed for both travel and shopping items. Cardholders earn 2 points for every dollar spent when annual spending is $5,000 and below. Once your annual spending exceeds $5,000, you earn 5 point for every dollar you spend. However, despite the fact that you appear to "earn more points", the number of points required to redeem rewards is scaled upwards to reflect this.
The Diamond Edition Elite Visa has identical reward program as the regular Elite Visa. The main difference is that this is also a charity credit card. A portion of every purchase you make is donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The Everyday Rewards Elite Visa is a cash back credit card that allows you to earn cash rebates on your card purchases. You can earn more than 1% rebates on selected items.
