Years ago when I was researching the internet for a reward credit card, I came across many sites. However, none of the sites actually told you much about the reward program. All that was given was the usual standard marketing text like
Earn one point for every dollar you spend
No annual fee
etc etc. But what I really wanted to know was the reward program itself. These were some of the few questions I really wanted to know
What are the fine prints in the travel rewards program
Are there blackout dates?
Can I get the airline that I really want?
Can I get the seats that I really want?
How many merchandise are there in the reward program?
Which program has the most gift cards rewards
To find out the answers, I painstaking research every credit card reward program. However, some credit card issuers do not list their program on their website. When I called customer service, their response was that I will get the program mailed to me when I was approved for the card! But I really wanted to check the program before I applied for the card.
I nevertheless applied for those cards anyway just so that I can find out more about those programs. I then compiled all that I found out about these programs and summarized them into an ebook (or a report).
