Review of the Audi Credit Card

The Audi Credit Card was last reviewed on 21st September 2006

audi credit card
Reward Formula - The Audi Visa Signature credit card from Chase has a standard reward point formula. It lets you earn 2 points for every dollar spent on purchases at Audi dealers and 1 point for every dollar spent on other purchases. There are no caps on the points you can earn, but they expire in 5 years. Points can be redeemed for Audi products.

Fees - There is no annual fees. The apr is prime rate plus 6.99%. New cardholders get a 0% apr on both purchase and balance transfer for 12 billing cycles from the date of account opening. The 2-cycle average daily balance method (including new purchases) is used to calculate monthly balance.

Conclusion - If you are an Audi car enthusiast and would like to earn and redeem points with Audi purchases, then the Audi Visa Signature credit card would suit you. If you want to earn reward points to save on your next vehicle purchase, but am not sure what brand you are getting, then the Citi® Driver's Edge® Platinum Select® Card would be another alternative to consider as it allows you to use "rebates" for the purchase or lease or a new or used vehicle of any brand.

Positives
  • No annual fee
  • 0% apr offer for 12 billing cycles

  • Negatives
  • Rewards can only be used for Audi products
  • Uses a 2-cycle average daily balance method for computing balances and finance charges.
